Lettuce is not only a tasty vegetable, it is also a very healthy vegetable and is particularly recommended in early spring. During this period, when our body is still recovering from the vitamin deficiencies accumulated during the winter months, lettuce is an excellent choice because of its vitamin content and easy digestibility. It is rich in vitamins A, C and K, as well as folate and fibre, which help to strengthen the immune system, improve blood formation and maintain a healthy digestive system. In addition, lettuce leaves can also be the perfect base for a variety of stuffed dishes, where they can be used as a substitute for traditional tortilla sheets or pasta.

Crowd favourite: egg noodles with pickled salad
